THE BASICS
-
The basic set-up is you plug your music device (i.e. Phone, tablets or laptops), into our transmitter and play your playlist, the music is transmitted via radio to all the headsets. You can have more than one channel of music and can flick between channels via button on headset, this can mean people dancing and singing to different music on the dancefloor!
-
We usually deliver at least one day before the event so you can test everything. We will pick up the items the next day or on Monday for most weekend bookings. Silent Knights typically handles delivery, but for distant locations, we may use a courier. If you can pick up and return items to Falkirk, we can arrange that, which will cost less.
-
You can use any music device that had a headphone port i.e. laptop, tablet, iPod. Or you can use phone but may require adapter if no headphone port. Please be sure to have a working device ready before your booking. For DJ mixers/deck you will require RCA adapters which we can provide on request. Our transmitters do not have Bluetooth capability.
-
To have more than one channel you will need one music device per channel. Plug each device into a separate transmitter and play your music, you can flick between channels via button on headphones.
-
Our system run on radio frequencies therefore if you have your music downloaded to device you can run without Wi-Fi. If you wanted to stream music you would require Wi-Fi or internet connection. We recommend syncing/downloading your music prior to the event.
-
Headphone will last 8hrs or more on full charge, we supply all headphones fully charged. Headphones can last longer if lights are disabled. We do not supply chargers but can be added on to package.
-
Our headphones will fit the majority of head sizes and have an adjustable head band.
-
Sometimes headphones may develop a fault during transit, this happens rarely but we include some spare headphones just in case.
-
